My name is Jeff Savage, and it is with a deep sense of responsibility and a great deal of excitement that I announce my candidacy for the Polk City City Council.

Since moving to Polk City in 2015, I have been actively involved in our city's civic affairs, attending City Council meetings whenever possible, and diligently reviewing the meeting agendas and minutes to stay informed and engaged.

​

In 2021, I participated in the inaugural Polk City Citizens Academy, gaining invaluable insights into our city's operations. The respect I developed for the hard work and passion of our city's employees during this time only served to deepen my commitment to our community. Further, I have been serving on the Parks Commission since the beginning of 2022, working towards preserving and enhancing our city's beautiful public spaces.

Earlier this year, I was selected to serve on the Polk City advisory committee for the Iowa Great Places application. This role allowed me to help shape our city's vision and work towards enhancing the quality of life for all residents.

As your city council member, my commitment is to listen, to be accessible, and to ensure that your voice, concerns, and aspirations guide our decisions. I am dedicated to serving you with integrity and transparency.

 

With your support and vote in the upcoming City Council election, together we can continue to make Polk City a prosperous, inclusive, and vibrant community that we are all proud to call home.
